lined the eyes with SMOLDER eyeliner from MAC

For the Lips:

MAC Magic, Mirth, & Mischief lipstick/lipgloss swatch

From left to right:

Top: Suprise Me, Utter Fun, Pervette
Bottom: Jingle Jangle, Total Wow! She-zam

Review: Lippies were very pretty. I really liked she-zam as it seemed to be the real stand out! It is a silver frost/glitter dazzleglass. 'Surprise me' was my favorite lipstick of the bunch. And I thought pervette was part of the permanent line...but I could be wrong. It is still really pretty though :)

Fashion of the Day: Leopard

Well actually this is what I wore the the MAC event: Magic, Mirth & Mischief last night! Hope you enjoy :)

MAC Style Black and Dsquared swatches

I have to say that these two collections are my fav. The Style Black mineralized eyeshadows are so pigmented. I have seen reviews on youtube saying they were just a bunch of glitter. But I didn't really find that to be the case. They had more substance to them and I think a valid addition to anyone's collection that likes a smokey eye and a bit of drama. I LOVED IT!

As for Dsquared: GREAT! The greasepaint sticks were two really great colors but I do think that if you use a paint pot or a gel eyeliner you can get the same effect. They had great staying power on my hand but my hands are very dry compared to my eyelids. But if you wear a lot of purple or blues it might be worth checking out. There lipsticks were TO DIE FOR!!! I wanted them both as they were sooo pretty. I didn't try the contour and highlight compacts as I have plenty of those shades.

So two thumbs up for me on these collections. I can't speak to staying power but the colors were amazing. Yes, I am gushing over makeup...ahem! xD

Argan Oil Update: The Pros and Cons

Now that I have tested Eden Beauty Elixir Pure Moroccan Argan Oil for a month straight I can say I love it...but only for certain areas.

In my opinion:

Pros: fills in all fine lines, leaves face moisturized, leaves hair bouncy, helped natural curl to come back after too much processing, little is needed to go the distance, scentless, easy to use.

Cons: caused constant breakouts for my combo/oily skin, left scalp too oily too quickly, not moisturizing enough for hands.

As you can see there are more good aspects of this product then not. I just had to figure how to make it work for me. I stopped using it on my face and everything calmed down. Also I decided to just use the oil on the tips of my hair and work it towards the midpoint of the shaft avoiding my scalp. And using it on elbows, knees, feet and the body in general works well for me but I wash my hands a lot throughout the day so I need something stronger.

I hope this gives you a little more insight on how the product worked for me. It may work differently for you if you have a different skin type or hair type. In general if you have the money I do think it's worth giving it a try.
